Not every basketball player has been blessed with great talent, but every player, regardless of ability can be a great teammate, some a
great leader.
So what can we learn? Just remember leaders lead from the front. Here is a few tips on how to build leadership character.
You must build valuable, trusting relationships with your teammates both on and off the court.
Be willing to get outside of your comfort zone, hide no sides from teammates.
Lead from the front: arrive to practice early, be the 1st to EVERYTHING.
Keep a positive, uplifting attitude...it's empowering and contagious!
Communicate and stay mentally engaged in competition and in practice.
Hold yourself and others accountable to the team
